National Heroes Day

National Heroes day is celebrated on November 10, 2019.  This event is held to respect and remember the battle that happened in Surabaya 74 years ago.  On this day, all of the people of Indonesia fought for their Independence against colonialism. This day is celebrated by presenting a flag ceremony in all institute including Sekolah Lentera Kasih. This event aims  to gain awareness, especially for young generations, about how to honor the independence of Indonesia and respect the heroes of this era.

In  Ms. Udayani speech, she states that we are also able to be a hero by improving the quality of our human resources and contribute the same effort as they did long ago. Hence, let’s build our country together, starting with developing our human resources and skills here in our community.
