Excellence in Education Scholarship

The Excellence in Education Scholarship is a prestigious academic scholarship awarded to students who consistently excel academically, demonstrating
exceptional dedication and commitment to their studies. This scholarship aims to recognize and reward the top-performing students in their grade level while promoting a culture of academic excellence within our institution.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Excellence: To be eligible for the Excellence in Education Scholarship, students must maintain outstanding academic performance, ranking as the TOP 1 student in their grade level based on their cumulative grade average.
Discipline: Eligible students must not have any record of disciplinary cases within the institution
Residency Requirement: Students must have completed at least one full year of residence at Sekolah Lentera Kasih.

Scholarship Categories and Benefits

Gold Award

Academic Excellence: Students with a cumulative grade average of 85% or higher in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Minimum Grade Requirement: Students must not receive a grade lowerthan 80% in any subject.
Scholarship Benefits: Gold Award recipients will receive a 20% discount ontheir school fees for the following academic year.

Silver Award

Eligibility: Students with a cumulative grade average of 80% – 84% in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
Minimum Grade Requirement: Students must not receive a grade lower than 75% in any subject.
Scholarship Benefits: Silver Award recipients will receive a 10% discount on their school fees for the following academic year.

Application and Selection Process

Eligible students will be automatically considered for the Excellence in Education Scholarship based on their academic performance and disciplinary record at the end of each semester.
The scholarship will be automatically awarded to eligible students, and no formal application process is required.
The Scholarship Selection Committee, composed of Homeroom teachers, Discipline Mistress, Academic Coordinator and School Principal, will review and verify the eligibility of candidates.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing, and the scholarship award will be applied to their school fees for the upcoming academic year.
Decisions made by the scholarship committee are final and non-negotiable. No appeals or disputes will be entertained, and the committee’s judgments regarding scholarship awards are considered conclusive.

Limitations

This scholarship discount cannot be combined with any other discounts offered by the school, except for the sibling discount and the full annual fee payment discount. In the event that a student receives multiple scholarship awards, the scholarship with the higher monetary value will be applied.
