Saturday Academy 3

Hello everyone! We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday and a Happy New Year.

SLK kicked off 2020 with more community service opportunities for our students. On 18 January, students continued the Saturday Academy Program, visiting students at SDN 2 Serangan. Students taught “healthy foods”, focusing on vegetables and fruit. SLK students are realizing how challenging teaching can be, but they are embracing the challenge and having a lot of fun in the process.

It has been heart warming watching SLK students engaged in community service. They have been very active, taking full responsibility for their classes, and connecting to their students with humor, care, and positivity. Each experience helps them to build their own confidence and learn more about themselves. So far, it has been a fantastic experience for both our students and those at SDN 2 Serangan.
