Living in Bali is a privilege, but it also means taking responsibility for its breathtaking beauty. On 16 February, our SLK & Lollypop community took concrete action to protect our island by hosting a Beach Clean Up in collaboration with the renowned environmental organization, Sungai Watch.
Small Actions, Real Impact As an educational community, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. During this clean up, our students rolled up their sleeves and worked hard to clear plastic waste from the coastline. They showed incredible enthusiasm and proved firsthand that even small actions create a real, measurable impact on our local environment and marine ecosystems.
Choosing to Be the Solution Tackling the environmental challenges in Bali requires teamwork and dedication. By partnering with Sungai Watch, our students not only helped clean the beach but also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of proper waste management and environmental stewardship.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our community. As we reflect on the success of this event, our message is simple: Let’s continue choosing to be part of the solution not part of the problem.
