Eagle Award

The Eagle Awards Scholarship is established to recognize and support students in Grade 6 to 12 who embody the core values of our school – Academic Excellence and Building Character. This scholarship program aims to encourage and reward students who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their studies, personal growth, and the school community.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Eagle Awards Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

a. Grade Level: Applicants must be enrolled in Grade 7 to 12 at our school.

b. Residence Requirement: The student must have completed at least two full academic year of residence at Sekolah Lentera Kasih.

c. Academic Excellence: Applicants should maintain a minimum a minimum grade of 75 in all subjects for at least 2 consecutive academic years.

d. Character and Leadership: Applicants must exhibit outstanding character, leadership qualities, and involvement in school and community activities.

e. Application: Applicants must submit a complete scholarship application along with supporting documents as per the application guidelines.

Application Process

To apply for the Eagle Awards Scholarship, students must complete the following steps:

Application Form: Download the official Eagle Awards Scholarship Application Form by clicking on the following link : Eagle Award Form or obtain a physical copy from the school’s administrative office.

Supporting Documents: Prepare the following documents to accompany your application:

  1. A personal statement (maximum 500 words) highlighting your academic achievements, personal growth, and contributions to the school and community.
  2. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders.
  3. Copies of academic transcripts or report cards.
  4. Any additional evidence of character, leadership, or extracurricular activities that demonstrate your qualifications for this scholarship.

Submission: Submit your completed application form and supporting documents to the scholarship committee by 30 April. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

For softcopy submission, rename your PDF form with the format EAGLE AWARDS APPLICATION FORM – [Applicant Full Name] – [Applicant Grade]. Then, send your file to scholarship@slkbali-lollypop.com with the subject format matching the file name

Selection Process

The selection of Eagle Awards Scholarship recipients will be a thorough and competitive process. The scholarship committee will evaluate each application based on the following criteria:

a. Academic Performance: The applicant’s academic achievements and transcripts will be reviewed to ensure they meet the minimum GPA requirement.

b. Character and Leadership: The personal statement and letters of recommendation will be assessed to gauge the applicant’s character, leadership abilities, and their contributions to the school and community.

c. Interview (if necessary): Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview with the scholarship committee to further assess their suitability for the scholarship.

Number of Awards

Each year, a maximum of three (3) students will be selected as recipients of the Eagle Awards Scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful Eagle Awards Scholarship recipients will receive a 30% discount on the following academic year’s school fees. This discount will be applied directly to the recipient’s tuition fees.

In the event that the recipient of the Eagle Award is in their final year of school (Grade 12 only), the school will convert the 30% scholarship into its equivalent monetary value.
